The Purpose of The Club is to Afford A Means of Exchanging Ideas On All Topics of Interest In A Democratic Soci4ety. Thus It is Intended to Provide A Focus of Community Life and to Stimulate The Qualities of Citizenship. The Club is A Member Organization In Which Dues Are Used to Pay for 9 Monthly Meetings, Which Include Meals, Beverages, Venue Fees, and Occasional Speaker Fees. Meetings Generally Have A Speaker or Panel and Time for Discussion. Dues Are Also Used to Pay One Part-time Administrative Support Individual. None of The Officers Receive Compensation. Dues Were $650 for 86 Full-time Members and $325 for 23 Associate Members. The Meeting Venue is The Virginia Museum of History and Culture, Which Charges $128 Per Person Per Meeting.
