THROUGH THE VOLUNTEER EFFORTS of PARENTS, STAFF and ALUMNI IN SELLING BANNER SPONSORSHIPS, SPIRIT WEAR, and CONCESSIONS AT ATHLETIC EVENTS, OVER 300 ATHLETES WERE ABLE to PLAY SPORTS WITH NO FEES CHARGED to THEM or THEIR FAMILIES. THE COUGAR BOOSTER CLUB DONATES FUNDS DIRECTLY to THE SCHOOL ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT to PURCHASE TEAM EQUIPMENT, UNIFORMS and OTHER TEAM RELATED EXPENSES. FUNDS ARE SPREAD EVENLY BETWEEN ALL SPORTS, ENSURING THAT EVERY CHILD HAS THE OPPORTUNITY for ATHLETIC ACHIEVEMENT and PARTICIPATION. AS AN ORGANIZATION of PARENTS and ALUMNI LINKED BY A COMMON DESIRE to SUPPORT STUDENT ATHLETES of OUR PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL, OUR PRIMARY PURPOSE is to AID and ENCOURAGE THE DEVELOPMENT of THE ATHLETIC PROGRAMS, PROMOTE SCHOOL SPIRIT and ENCOURAGE ATHLETIC PARTICIPATION, and to ENSURE THAT THE ATHLETIC PARTICIPATION REMAINS FREE of CHARGE for ALL STUDENTS, SO THAT NO CHILD HAS to PAY to PLAY.
