What they do
THE FAMILY PRIDE TEAM WALKS ALONG SIDE OUR CLIENTS and FAMILIES to OFFER A FOUNDATION of SUPPORT and GUIDANCE TOWARDS A HEALTHY, EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING THROUGH CREATIVE, FLEXIBLE and COLLABORATIVE MENTAL HEALTH and SUBSTANCE ABUSE SERVICES. WE STRIVE to REDUCE BARRIERS to ACCESSING MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES BY BRINGING OUR SERVICES to OUR CLIENTS IN THEIR HOMES, SCHOOLS, WORK, VIRTUALLY, or COMMNUNITY (WHEREVER IT is NEEDED MOST) and AT TIMES THAT MAKE SENSE for THEM. IN ADDITION, FAMILY PRIDE FOCUSES ON BEING A STRONG FOUNDATION of SUPPORT IN OUR NORTHEAST OHIO COMMUNITY THROUGH FEEDBACK, COLLABORATION, and BUILDING SERVICES WHERE THE COMMUNITY NEEDS IT MOST - SUCH AS PROVIDING IN-HOME SERVICES for HOMEBOUND SENIORS and PREVENTION BASED PROGRAMMING THAT FOCUSES ON STRENGTHENING THE CONNECTION BETWEEN FATHERS and THEIR CHILDREN, and INTENSIVE IN-HOME FAMILY SERVICES to REDUCE THE NUMBER of HIGH RISK CHILDREN IN RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMMING and INVOLVED IN THE JUVENILE JUSTICE SYSTEM.

Plain answer: A tax form cannot prove that a charity is doing good. It can show how the charity says it spent its money—and point out questions you should ask.

Money made simple
Ask these three easy questions
- Who did you help? Ask for a recent story or report that shows real results.
- What will my money do? Ask exactly what your gift will pay for.
- Is this really the charity? Give only through its official website or confirmed phone number.
Worth asking: Expenses exceeded revenue this year. Ask whether that was planned or caused by a one-time event. The complete report shows the exact difference and financial history.
Bottom line: Do not decide from a name, mission statement, or tax status alone. Look at where the money went, then ask what changed, who was helped, and what your gift will do. YouCanGiveBack does not endorse or grade organizations.
