THE FOUNDATION is A SUPPORTER of COOPERATIVE FISHERIES RESEARCH BY BOTH STATE and PRIVATE ENTITIES WHICH IMPROVES THE ABILITY of OUR FISHERIES MANAGERS and FISHERMEN to EFFECTIVELY and RATIONALLY MAKE DECISIONS ABOUT THE MOST SUSTAINABLE USE of OUR MARINE NATURAL RESOURCES. THE FOUNDATION ALSO ASSUMES THE ROLE AS THE PRIMARY NON GOVERNMENTAL MARINE FISHERIES EDUCATIONAL LIAISON to THE PUBLIC.
