FOUNDED IN 1977, THE CENTER PROVIDES A RIGOROUS LONG-TERM PROGRAM of AUDITORY VERBAL THERAPY to ASSIST HEARING IMPAIRED CHILDREN to LEARN to HEAR and SPEAK WITHOUT THE USE of SIGN LANGUAGE or LIP READING WITH THE GOAL of BEING SUCCESSFULLY MAINSTREAMED INTO NORMAL HEARING SCHOOLS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PROVIDES A FULL SERVICE AUDIOLOGY DEPARTMENT to SERVE HEARING IMPAIRED INDIVIDUALS of ALL AGES IN THE COMMUNITY.
