THIS VISION is ACHIEVED BY: 1) RAISING PUBLIC AWARENESS of MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES; 2) PROMOTING RESEARCH-SUPPORTED and EVIDENCE-BASED TRAINING and DEVELOPMENT of SPECIALIZED SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE for PROFESSIONALS WORKING WITH MARGINALIZED and AT-RISK POPULATIONS; 3) SUPPORTING and RECOGNIZING THOSE WHO PROVIDE SERVICES to THE COMMUNITY (SUCH AS REDUCED-COST or PRO BONO WORK) and THOSE WHO CONDUCT RESEARCH THAT BENEFITS THE PUBLIC and THE PEOPLE IN ITS INITIATIVES; 4) "BUILDING COLLABORATIVE NETWORKS to PROMOTE THE VISIBILITY and VALUE of PSYCHOLOGY and to EXPAND ITS IMPACT IN GEORGIA.
