THE JUNIOR LEAGUE of TAMPA (JLT) PROVIDED VOLUNTEER TRAINING and LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS THAT EQUIPPED and EMPOWERED OVER 1,600 WOMEN WITH THE SKILLS NECESSARY to ADDRESS COMMUNITY NEEDS and STRENGTHEN NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS. THE TRAININGS EMPHASIZED NONPROFIT MANAGEMENT, BOARD GOVERNANCE, and PHILANTHROPIC ENGAGEMENT THROUGH EXPERT PANELS, COMMITTEE SERVICE, WORKSHOPS, and LEADERSHIP ROLES. THESE PROGRAMS PREPARED MEMBERS for LEADERSHIP POSITIONS WITHIN JLT, OTHER NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS, and THE BROADER COMMUNITY, CREATING A LASTING IMPACT BY EXPANDING FEMALE LEADERSHIP ACROSS THE TAMPA BAY AREA.JLT is COMMITTED to HELPING BREAK THE CYCLE of POVERTY for THE COMMUNITYS MOST DISADVANTAGED CHILDREN and FAMILIES IN HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY THROUGH THE ISSUE and FOCUS AREAS OF: CHILD WELFARE, EDUCATION, and BASIC NEEDS.
