THE AMERICAN LEGION ALSO PROVIDES VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES for VETERNS to MENTOR YOUTH and SPONSOR WHOLESOME PROGRAMS IN COMMUNITIES, LEADS ACTIVITIES THAT CELEBRATE PATRIOTISM and HONOR; PROMOTES STRONG NATIONAL SECURITY, and PROVIDES MEANINGFUL FELLOWSHIP AMONG SERVICE MEMBERS, VETERANS and THEIR FAMILIES.
