What they do
One of The Primary Pillars (programs) of The Plano Community Forum is to Award Scholarships. The Plano Community Forum Awarded Scholarships to 7 Students to Support Their Continued Education Into College. Four Students Received Scholarships Upon Graduating From High School. Each Student Received Funds Sent Directly to Their Institution. These Students Had Excelled Academically and Through Extra-curricular Activities. All of The Students Continued Into 4-year Institutions Across The Nation. Once The Students Are Selected PCF Hosts A Reception for The Students and Their Families to Celebrate Their Accomplishment and Present Their Scholarship Information to Them. This Event is Intended to Be Celebratory and Supportive for The Students. An Outside Speaker is Usually Invited to Share An Inspirational Message With The Students to Help Them Transition Into College Life and Being Away From Home. Lastly, One $1500 Scholarship is Awarded to A Collin College Student During The Collin College MLK
