THE MISSION of TEXAS HOPE LITERACY is to TRANSFORM OFFENDERS THROUGH THE HOPE COMMUNITY REINTEGRATION MODELS USING PEER-DRIVEN EDUCATION WITHIN AN EVIDENCE-BASED FRAMEWORK IN ORDER for THEM to RE-ENTER SOCIETY AS PRODUCTIVE and CONTRIBUTING MEMBERS of THEIR COMMUNITIES. THE VISION is to BE THE MODEL PROGRAM for PRISONS and JAILS EVERYWHERE. OUR GOALS ARE to EQUIP THE INMATES to BE RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS DURING THEIR INCARCERATION POST-RELEASE SO THAT THEY WILL BE BETTER PARENTS to THEIR CHILDREN, OUR COMMUNITIES WILL BE SAFER, and RECIDIVISM LOWERED.
