HOPEWALLAH INC
EIN 80-0746725 · Voluntary Health Associations & Medical Disciplines N.E.C. (G99)
What they do
The Origins of Hopewallah Began With Bishop Prabhudas Babbili, First Bishop of The Anglican Church of South India, Diocese of Karimnagar. He Ministered to Hundreds of Lepers and Their Families Living In Squalor, Confined to Leper Colonies In Remote Locations. Even Today There is No Running Water or Adequate Sanitation, and These Poor Folk Are Condemned As "untouchable" While Forced Into A Life of Begging, Rickshaw Peddling, or Municipality Janitoring. After Bishop Prabhudass Demise In 1996, The Babbili Family, Along With Friends, Church Families, and Generous Donors, Continued His Work to Care for People With Leprosy. By 2011, We Saw The Need to Form A 501c(3), Non-profit Organization, and Hopewallah - One Who Provides Hope - Became A Reality.
