What they do
The 2015 City of Troy Neighborhood Improvement Grant of $600 Generously Awarded to Frear Park Conservancy Was Used to Create A Butterfly Garden In Front of The Pagoda, In The Center of The Existing Native Plant Education Garden. The Butterfly Garden Was Installed As Planned, On Time and Well Within Budget. Volunteers Installed The New Garden and Are Helping Maintain It. Additional Plants Were Purchased to Refresh Existing Gardens Within Frear Park, Bringing The Total Spent On Plants to $528. An Additional $41 Was Spent to Certify The New Garden As An Official Monarch Butterfly Way Station From The Organization Monarch Watch, and Purchase A Sign to Display In The Garden. Frear Park Conservancy Paid The Plant Vendor, Fiddlehead Creek for $528 On 5/9/15, and The Online Vendor Monarch Watch for $40.95, Paid 7/29/15. A Check In The Amount of $569 In Grant Monies Was Dispersed to Frear Park Conservancy As Reimbursement for Expenses As Detailed Above. We Look Forward to Working With The City
