WASATCH & DISTRICT PIPE BAND
EIN 81-0653955 · Bands & Ensembles (A6C)
What they do
Instruction: 1) As A Traditional Scottish Bagpipe Band, Our Primary Goal is to Instruct Others On The History, Theory, and Practice of The Great Highland Bagpipe and Scottish Marching Drums (snare, Tenor, and Bass). We Do This Through Small Group and Private Instruction As Well As Bringing A Teaching Element to Each of Our Performances. Through Instruction of These Instruments We Are Able to Not Only Prolong The Life of This Art Form, But Also Ensure A More Cultural Vibrant Community. 2) Our Primary Audience for Instruction is Youth Aged 8-18, and Adults Aged 19-70, With A Desire to Learn More About Scottish Instruments, Culture, or History. While We Do Not Limit Who We Instruct, Most People Interested In Learning to Play Scottish Instruments Have European Ancestry.
