Grannys Lil Helpers Was Established to Assist Seniors Who The Lacked The Day-to-day Physicality to Adequately Maintain Their Own Homes. Community Volunteers Assist Seniors With Light Chores; Such As Painting Flooring Plumbing Hanging Outside Christmas Lights Yard Work and Brush And-or Snow Removal. Countless Volunteers From All Over The Chicago-land Area Provided Their Time and Hard Work Throughout The Year On Programs for Seniors Such As; 1. Senior Spring Cleaning & Removal of Old or Unwanted Items Out to The Trash and Items That Could Still Be Used Were Dropped Off At Donation Centers. 2. Summer Yard Shrub Clean-up Where Volunteers Used Their Own Equipment to Remove Yard Debris Trim Hedges Ect. of Needy Seniors. 3. Fall Senior Leaf Raking Program Where Once Again Volunteers Used Their Own Equipment and Supplies to Rake and Bag Leaves of Seniors Yards.
