INDIVIDUALS SERVED INCLUDE ADULTS AGE 55 and OVER, LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS, INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE FOOD INSECURE, and INDIVIDUALS WITH AN INTELLECTUAL DISABILITY. 2. SERVED AN INCREASED NUMBER of PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS WHO ARE BLACK and PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS WHO ARE WOMEN. 3. PROVIDED 50 IN-PERSON WEEKLY MEETINGS. 4. THROUGH A PARTNERSHIP WITH UAB, SHOP SERVED AS A PRECEPTOR SITE for 12 UAB NURSING STUDENTS or PSYCHOLOGY UNDERGRADUATES to HELP TRAIN THEM ON INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION WITH INDIVIDUALS WITH MENTAL ILLNESS. STUDENTS GAINED INVALUABLE EXPERIENCE WITH HANDS-ON MENTAL HEALTH SELF-MANAGEMENT and COMMUNITY-BASED CARE. SHOPS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR PROVIDED FEEDBACK to STUDENTS REGARDING INTERPERSONAL INTERACTIONS WITH PEOPLE WITH MENTAL ILLNESS. 5. TRAINED and ENGAGED WITH 23 COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS WHO PROVIDED
