CDuring The Past Year, Our Work In Kenya Continued to Grow In Both Reach and Impact, Particularly Within PP1 and PP2 County Schools. One of Our Greatest Accomplishments Was Gaining Meaningful Traction With Local Educators and School Leaders Who Are Seeking New Ways to Improve Learning Opportunities for Children In Underserved Communities. We Conducted Multiple Teacher Trainings Focused On Project-Based Learning (PBL), An Educational Approach Recently Added to The Kenya Governments Schemes of Work. While The Curriculum Now Emphasizes Hands-on and Student-centered Learning, Many Teachers Have Received Little or No Formal Training In How to Effectively Implement It In Their Classrooms. Our Trainings Equipped Teachers With Practical Strategies to Make Learning More Engaging, Creative, and Relevant to Students Daily Lives, Even In Low-resource Environments.
