What they do
Equine Rescue: Were On The Front Lines of Rescue This Year. Fighting Chance Had An Unusual Number of Body Score One Horses In 2025. We Took Horses That Were Surrendered By Owners Horses Bought From Auctions and Horses Seized From Police Departments and Humane Societies In Our Community. We Took Horses That Came Here for Hospice. We Gave Them The Ability to Pass With Love and Dignity. We Opened Our Doors and Hearts to Many Horses That Needed Us. In August We Were A Part of An 18 Horse Seizure. We Needed to Transform Our Educational Center Into A Stable Housing 11 of The 18 Horses That Were Seized. We Only Had A Few Hours to Make That Happen. We Need to Move Several of Our Own Horses to Foster Facilities In Order to House Them In Our Run In and Outdoor Paddocks. We Needed to Expand Our Medical Supplies Water Tanks Feed Holders Brushes Paddocks and Maintenance Equipment. This Included Horses In Varies Levels of Starvation and Hoof Rot.
