YAVAPAI FAC Helped Fund The Purchase of A Much Needed Playground Cover to Protect Children Visiting Their Center From The Elements Year Round; Provided Snack Items, Clothing, Shoes, Under Garments, Toiletries, Toys and Drawstring Backpacks to Meet The Immediate Needs of Victims Visiting The Center. When Individuals Arrive At The Advocacy Center, It is Often Following A Traumatic Life Event. Sometimes Their Clothing Must Be Taken In As Evidence, They May Have Left A Bad Situation With No More Than The Clothes On Their Back, and They May Be Hungry, Tired or Both. They Are Almost Always Feeling Afraid and Unsure How to Take The Next Step Towards Healing. The Advocacy Center Offers A Place of Support and Comfort In These Difficult Times As Well As Offering Assistance In Navigating The Investigation Process and There is Never Any Cost for The Client.
