THE PURPOSE of THE BISTRO is to ADDRESS, and ELIMINATE HUNGER ISSUES IN PREBLE COUNTY, OHIO for THE DISADVANTAGED AND/OR LOW INCOME POPULATIONS. THE PLANNED ACTIVITIES IN SUPPORT of THIS PURPOSE ARE: PROVIDE INDIVIDUAL MEALS DURING HOURS of RESTAURANT OPERATION. CUSTOMERS ARE SERVED A MEAL REGARDLESS of THEIR ABILITY to PAY. THOSE THAT ARE ABLE to PAY WILL BE OFFERED THE OPPORTUNITY to PAY MORE THAN THE MENU PRICE to "PAY-IT-FORWARD" to SUPPORT THE UNPAID/UNDERPAID MEALS. COMMUNITY MEALS WILL BE SCHEDULED ON A REGULAR BASIS FREE of CHARGE, AGAIN WITH THE TARGET POPULATIONS of THE DISADVANTAGED AND/OR LOW INCOME. JOB TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES WILL BE AVAILABLE for LOW/NO INCOME INDIVIDUALS to GAIN JOB SKILLS for WORK IN THE RESTAURANT INDUSTRY. THE BISTRO WILL ONLY HAVE TWO PAID STAFF, A FRONT MANAGER and A CHEF. THE REMAINDER of THE POSITIONS WILL BE FILLED BY VOLUNTEER STAFF.
