What they do

PETERS HEART INC. is NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION WHICH PRIMARILY PROVIDES FINANCIAL ASSITANCE to POOR and UNDERPRIVILIGED FAMILIES IN UGANDA (AFRICA) BY IDENTIFYING CHILDREN MOST VULNERABLE to THE REALITIES of LIFE IN THE SLUMS and BY HELPING THEM MOVE to SAFETY. PETERS HEART ENROLLS THE CHILDREN IN SAFE, PROGRESSIVE BOARDING SCHOOLS, IN PARTICULAR SCHOOLS THAT ENCOURAGE ANALYTIC THINKING and DO NOT UTILIZE CORPORAL PUNISHMENT. WE PROVIDE THEM WITH THE UNIFORMS and SCHOOL SUPPLIES, and WE MAKE SURE THEY HAVE A SAFE ENVIRONMENT WHEN SCHOOL is IN RECESS (HOLIDAYS, ETC). Ask these three easy questions

  1. Who did you help? Ask for a recent story or report that shows real results.
  2. What will my money do? Ask exactly what your gift will pay for.
  3. Is this really the charity? Give only through its official website or confirmed phone number.

Bottom line: Do not decide from a name, mission statement, or tax status alone. Look at where the money went, then ask what changed, who was helped, and what your gift will do. YouCanGiveBack does not endorse or grade organizations.
