The Largest Service Initiatives In 2024 Continues The Tradition of The Organization By Distributing Gifts and Food for The Thanksgiving & Christmas Holidays. It is Estimated That We Brought Cheer to Some 250 Families During The Holidays. The 2024 Total Spend for This Initiative Was $16,699 With 270 Turkeys Distributed for Thanksgiving. Throughout The Year The Organization Provided Beds, Sheets and Blankets, Appliances, As Well As Other Essential Furniture to These Refuge Families Who Come to The Buffalo Area With Nothing But The Clothes On Their Backs. Forty-nine Families Have Been Touched By This Initiative With A Spend of $24,674 Spent On Bedding and Clothes and Another $20,078 In Furniture During 2024. The Third Largest Initiative We Undertake In 2024 Was Providing Rental Assistance to Families Who Either Needed A Start With Their Rent Payments or Help Making Their Rent Payments In The Case of An Emergency. We Spent $5,504 In 2024 In Rental Assistance.
