GOOD DOG RESCUE
EIN 81-3758756 · Animal Protection & Welfare (D20)
What they do
2025 Continued to Be Challenging for The Animal Welfare World - Adoptions Remained Slow, Several of Our Long Term Fosters Have Taken Breaks or Left, Finding New Dedicated Fosters is Difficult, and Local Shelters Are Also Full So The Supply of Dogs Far Outweighs The Demand. Despite These Challenges, We Still Rescued 81 Dogs and Puppies, Primarily From High Kill Shelters and Urgent Situations. All of Our Dogs Live In Our Homes With Us and Are Loved Like Our Own Pets. They Are All Fully Vetted Prior to Adoption, and We Have A Trainer That Helps Us Work Through Any Behavioral Issues. One of Our Special Projects is Keeping Dogs In Their Homes. We Offer Post-adoption Support In The Form of Periodic Check Ins, Providing Free Training Classes Weekly for Adopters to Attend In Person, and Also Have Videos and Other Training Materials We Can Send Out for People to Work On At Home. We Volunteered At 12 Pet Food Banks In The Denver Area - One A Month. We Distributed Dog and Cat Food In Partnership
