THE MISSION of THE SAN DIEGO DISTRICT HOCKEY LEAGUE is to CREATE YOUTH HOCKEY PROGRAMS IN THE SAN DIEGO AREA INCREASING BOTH SPORT PARTICIPATION RATES and HEALTHY DEVELOPMENT of THE AREAS YOUTH. OUR EMPHASIS is ON LEARNING, PLAYING and ENJOYING SPORTS WHILE INSTILLING HIGH MORAL STANDARDS BY STRESSING THE IMPORTANCE of ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT and COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT. HELPING KIDS BECOME LEADERS and TEAMMATES, SAN DIEGO DISTRICT HOCKEY LEAGUE PLAYERS WILL LEARN to BOTH FOSTER CONFIDENCE and A SENSE of SELF-WORTH THAT EXTEND BEYOND THE SPORT and INTO SCHOOL, FAMILY and COMMUNITY.
