OPERATION CLEAN OUT TO BUILD UP LLC

EIN 81-4514270 · Humanities (A70)

What they do

In 2017 Operation Build Up Surprised 39 Struggling Veterans With Vehicles and 2 Struggling Veterans With Home Furnishings. We Are An All Volunteer Force Comprised of Veterans and Civilians. We Take In Donated Vehicles, Fix Them So They Are Ready to Be Inspected and Surprise Veterans With Them When They Least Expect It. This Year We Surprised Veterans From All Conflicts Ranging From Operation Iraqi Freedom All The Way Up to A Korean War Veteran With 3 Purple Hearts In Need. At This Current Moment Out of Our 25 Plus Volunteers Not One of Us Have Any Mechanic Skill Sets At All. We Spend Our Days and Nights On You Tube Figuring Out How to Fix Them. Our Mission is Not Only A Success With The Veterans Receiving But Has Been A Great Success for The Veterans Working In The Shop, We Have Found That Being Productive, Working As A Team On Another Veteran In Needs Behalf Does Just As Much to Heal The Veterans Putting In The Work As The Recipients. Our Organization Was Just Filmed In A Documentary

This record may have an IRS status problem. Do not give until you verify it.

Plain answer: A tax form cannot prove that a charity is doing good. It can show how the charity says it spent its money—and point out questions you should ask.

Money made simple

135.21%of revenue went to mission work99.3% of expenses · Program services
$136.12spent for every $100 of revenueSpending was higher than revenue this year.
95.7%of its money came from giftsOther money may come from services or investments.

Ask these three easy questions

  1. Who did you help? Ask for a recent story or report that shows real results.
  2. What will my money do? Ask exactly what your gift will pay for.
  3. Is this really the charity? Give only through its official website or confirmed phone number.

Worth asking: Expenses exceeded revenue by $14,332 this year. Ask whether that was planned or caused by a one-time event.

Bottom line: Do not decide from a name, mission statement, or tax status alone. Look at where the money went, then ask what changed, who was helped, and what your gift will do. YouCanGiveBack does not endorse or grade organizations.
