THE CHAPTERS ABILITY to ADDRESS THESE NEEDS IN A TIMELY and EFFECTIVE MANNER DEPENDS HEAVILY ON THE FINANCIAL and MATERIAL CONTRIBUTIONS of INDIVIDUAL DONORS, FOUNDATIONS, and BUSINESSES. WHEN THE URGENT HOUSING NEEDS ARE MET, THE VETERANS QUALITY of LIFE IMPROVES AS THEY ARE ABLE to LIVE IN A SAFE and ACCESSIBLE HOME. OPERATION VETERAN HOME RENOVATION (OVHR), A CAMPAIGN THAT WORKS IN TANDEM WITH NATIONAL LEAGUE of CITIES and CREDIT UNIONS AROUND THE COUNTRY WAS IN ITS THIRD YEAR IN 2019. THIS ENABLED THE CHAPTER to REACH EVEN MORE VETERANS ACROSS THE STATE WITH COORDINATED EFFORTS FROM COMMUNITY PARTNERS. THE OVHR CAMPAIGN SPREAD AWARENESS and SOLUTIONS to VETERANS IN REGIONS THAT WERE UNTOUCHED BY THE CHAPTER IN THE PAST.THE CHAPTERS THREE LARGEST PROJECTS STARTED and COMPLETED IN 2019 WERE AS FOLLOWS:PROJECT ONE WAS for A VETERAN and HIS WIFE.
