Organized 6 Bike Light Give-Aways At Small and Large Community Events In Partnership With The City of Santa Cruz to Encourage and Support Cycling Safety. Approximately 400 Individuals Received Both Front and Rear Safety Lights for Their Bicycles. Attended and Presented At 2 Bike to School Events. Promoted Safe Cycling Throughout The County At Community Events. Hosted Open Streets In Santa Cruz, The Largest Open and Public Event In The City With Over 60 Organizations and 10,000 Attendees. In Order to Encourage People to Bike to Local Events, We Provided Free Valet Bike Parking to Attendees. Events Included Concerts, Street Fairs, and Community Events. Our Goal is to Reduce Traffic Congestion and Encourage Sustainable Transportation. We Provide This Service At Approximately 8 Events, Which Translates Into About 800 Individuals Served.
