THE PROGRAM HAS EXPANDED to A TOTAL of 12 COMMUNITY FOOD SCRAP RECOVERY SITES, and INCLUDES CUSTOM SERVICES for COMMUNITY GROUPS, NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS, BUSINESSES and SCHOOLS. OVER 200,000 POUNDS of FOOD SCRAPS HAVE BEEN DIVERTED FROM THE LANDFILL to DATE and DOZENS of NEW COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS and INITIATIVES for COMPOSTING THAT HAVE COME INTO ACTION THROUGH THIS WORK. THERE CONTINUES to BE GOOD PARTICIPATION WITH THIS PROGRAM, SERVING A SEASONAL RANGE of 150 RESIDENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
