What they do

VATV Has Been An Integral Part In Informing and Educating The Vietnamese American Community Through News Programs. The Program Reaches Thousands of Vietnamese Americans Throughout The Country Through Its Youtube Page and National Television Service. It Keeps The Community Informed and Involved With Cultural Events In The Regional and National Areas. VATV Volunteers Travel to Weekly Events Throughout The Country to Provide Programs In Both English and Vietnamese. Over The Past Year, VATV Has Partnered With Various Organizations Throughout The DC Metropolitan Area to Help Disseminate Information and Educate Vietnamese Americans On Issues That Are Not Typically Spoken About In The Community, Such As Hepatitis B. VATV Hopes to Further Its Long Term Goals By Continuing to Provide Training Programs for New and Old Volunteers Who Are Interested In Developing Media Skills and Learning More About The Larger Community.
