What they do
The Primary Audience for Decoding Dyslexia Minnesota (DDMN) is Dyslexic Students & Their Parents, Families & Caregivers. We Provide Services In The Following Ways: *Parent Talks: Live Online Educational Webinars Held Weekly, Approximately One Hour In Length. They Include A Variety of Presentations On Topics of Interest to Families of Struggling Readers. An Open Discussion On The Subject of Dyslexia Follows The Presentation. In The Small Group Presentations, We Help Families Find Resources Depending On Their Childs Needs. In 2024, We Held 72 Parent Talks Attended By 286 Parents. The Partner for Parents Manager Provided This Service, Along With Our Executive Director & Three Board Members.*One-on-one Consulting: 79 Parents Contacted Us for One-on-one Help & Advocacy to Discuss Their Childs Situation, Identify Appropriate Resources &/or Help Them Navigate The IEP & 504 Process In Schools. We Participated In 2 IEP/504 Meetings. Combined, We Met With & Helped 365 Families In 2024. Our Partn
