During Fiscal 2024, We Conducted Scientific Research On Bird Populations At Powell Butte Nature Park Located In Portland, or Studying The Impacts of Habitat Restoration At The Park. The Study Has Two Separate But Related Components: 1) A Demographic Study of Grassland Birds Breeding At The Site, and 2) A Volunteer Community Science Study of Avian Diversity and Abundance Designed to Complement The Demographic Study While Engaging The Community With Scientific Research. Demographic Data Including Nest Monitoring Data, Mark-recapture Data, and Spatial Data Were Collected, Summarized, and Provided to Our Partner, Portland Parks and Recreation. Community Science Data Were Also Shared With Portland Parks and Recreation, and With Our Other Partner On The Community Science Project, The Johnson Creek Watershed Council. We Presented Our Results In Our Annual Permitting Reports; We Also Presented Our Findings At Scientific Meetings and Less Formal Meetings With A Broader Audience Which Included V
