GUARDIAN PROJECT-IOWA WORKS to INCREASE SAFETY IN THE DES MOINES COMMUNITY. WE HAVE HELPED SECURE THE FUNDING to HELP INITIALLY EQUIP THE OVER 300 OFFICERS IN THE DES MOINES POLICE DEPARTMENT WITH BODY CAMERAS, and CAMERAS for THE PATROL CARS and STORAGE AS WELL. WE HAVE ALSO BEEN AN ONGOING SUPPORTER of URBAN DREAMS WINTER CAR CHECKUP WHICH PROVIDES FREE SAFETY CHECKS for HUNDREDS of RESIDENTS CARS INCLUDING FREE WIPER BLADES and LIGHT BULBS, CHECKING TIRES, TOPPING OFF FLUIDS and DOING CAR SEAT CHECKS.
