WHILE DESIGNED to ENTERTAIN THE SENSES, THE NATIONAL STEAMBOAT MUSEUM WAS FOUNDED WITH A VISION to FIND and PRESERVE THESE VAST COLLECTIONS for THE BENEFIT of FUTURE GENERATIONS, INSTRUCTING and INSPIRING OUR CHILDREN of THE INNOVATION, VALOR, and UNQUENCHABLE ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT DISPLAYED BY THE RIVER MEN and WOMEN of THE EARLY AMERICAN WEST.
