SINCE OUR INCEPTION IN 2017, WE HAVE COMPLETED SEVERAL 3-DAY PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SESSIONS and FULLY TRAINED 30 TEACHERS FROM 5 SCHOOL DISTRICTS IN STEM (SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, and MATHEMATICS) TECHNIQUES.WE HAVE IMPLEMENTED 15 "SPARK CARTS" OUTFITTED WITH CNC MACHINES and 3D PRINTERS INTO CLASSROOMS IN VENTURA, OXNARD, and SANTA BARBARA.YOUNG LEARNERS WHO MIGHT NEVER HAVE BEEN GRANTED THE OPPORTUNITY to INTERACT WITH POWERFUL CREATIVE TECHNOLOGIES LIKE 3D PRINTING and CNC ROUTING ARE NOW BEING GIVEN THE CHANCE to EXPLORE CREATIVE LEARNING. THESE TRAININGS HAVE PROVIDED ACCESS to THOUSANDS of STUDENTS, and HAVE MADE A SERIOUS IMPACT ON THE DEMOCRATIZATION of CREATIVE CAPABILITIES IN THE CLASSROOM WHILE GIVING THESE STUDENTS (MANY FROM ECONOMICALLY-CHALLENGED ENVIRONMENTS) A MARKETABLE SKILL for USE IN ADVANCED LEARNING and POST-EDUCATION EMPLOYMENT.
