EIN 82-4848118 · Public Health (E70)

What they do

Our Organizations Primary Purpose is to Provide Sanitary Supplies (such As Soap, Face Masks, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, and Hand Sanitizer) As Well As Food (granola Bars, Canned Food, Apple Sauce, Etc.) and Water to Unhoused Individuals In The Los Angeles Area. We Have Operated Throughout Los Angeles In The Last 5 Years, Starting In Westwood and Moving to North Hollywood, and Three Different Locations Within Hollywood-moving to Wherever Unhoused Encampments Are Popping Up. During The COVID-19 Pandemic, We Noticed How Unhoused Individuals Were More Susceptible to The Infection and We Having More Trouble Meeting Their Most Basic Needs Relating to Hygiene, Food, and Water, So We Shifted to Focusing On These Essentials, Upping Our Distribution From 10-15 People Served Each Week to Anywhere From 20-40 People, Depending On Our Supplies and The Number of People On The Street At A Given Time.

Ask these three easy questions

  1. Who did you help? Ask for a recent story or report that shows real results.
  2. What will my money do? Ask exactly what your gift will pay for.
  3. Is this really the charity? Give only through its official website or confirmed phone number.

Bottom line: Do not decide from a name, mission statement, or tax status alone. Look at where the money went, then ask what changed, who was helped, and what your gift will do. YouCanGiveBack does not endorse or grade organizations.

How each $100 of revenue was used

The large number compares each expense with revenue. The smaller number shows its share of total expenses.

Expenses were greater than revenue, so the colored ring fills the available $100 and the total above 100% is shown below.

Has the pattern changed?

Colored bars = expense mix: how each year’s expenses were divided. Total expenses vs. revenue shows whether the charity spent less or more than it received. The current filing is first.
