Off-Kendrik is An Independent Non-profit 501c(3) Organization and A Thriving Platform for Bengali/South Asian American Theater In The Greater Boston Area. Our Journey Began More Than Fifteen Years Ago With A Creative Urge to Express The Immigrant Experience Through Theater. It All Started With A Nostalgia-themed Play, Bijoner Chayer Cabin (Bijons Tea Cabin), and Has Since Evolved Into A Dedicated Platform for Showcasing High-quality Bengali Theater. We Remain Committed to Creating Original Plays and Reimagining Existing Literature to Address The Rapidly Changing World Around Us, Whether In The United States or India. Off-Kendriks Productions Offer A Unique Window Into The Hearts and Minds of The South Asian Immigrant Community. In 2016, We Introduced VOICES, A Storytelling Segment That Encourages Broader Community Participation, Sparking Dialogues About Dreams, Aspirations, and The Search for Identity.
