In Partnership With Latitude High School In Oakland CA We Launched Town Academy. Phase I Was Our Case Management Mentoring Program for The 11th Grade. Small Group Mentoring Featuring A Social-emotional Curriculum Along With College and Career Advocacy Emotional Intelligence Social Justice Financial Literacy and Life-long Skills That Will Lead Students to Be Successful Contributors to Their Community and Beyond. We Laid A Foundation for Students By Offering A Nine-week Module With Our Community Partner Zymbolic Restorative Justice Experts Who Provide Social-emotional Learning With A Twist. The Module Provides A Framework for The Students to Receive Mentoring Create Networks and Build Communication Skills. The Module Will Be Divided Into Two Parts: Explore Their Innate Social Capacities Through The Neuroscience of The Human Connection. Restorative Practices Conflict Resolution and High-stakes Dialogue. Mentored 45 Students.
