Primos Dallas (Primos) is A 501(c)(3) Private Nonprofit Mentoring Organization Based In The Pleasant Grove Area of Dallas That Pairs Young Latino Students With Latino Professionals. Established In 2018, Primos Mission is to Empower Students and Their Families to Tackle Any Challenge Through Mentoring and Exposure Opportunities. Primos Goal is to Help Students Determine Their Post-high School Path Whether That Path Leads to College, Vocational Training, or Career Entrance. Primos Supports Students In Two Ways: Mentoring and College/career Training. Primos Mentees Participate In A One-on-one Yearlong Mentoring Relationship. Because Relation and Family Are Central to The Latino Family Experience, Primos Builds A Family Foundation Into Its Mentoring Experience, Inviting The Family Unit to Become A Part of The Mentoring Experience. Focusing On Family-like Relationships Allows The Students to Thrive In Many Different Environments, While Also Allowing The Mentor to Connect In A Meaningful Way
