What they do

During The 2024-2025 Season, VCNJ Performed Three Major Works: Our December Concert Featured The Popular "Gloria" By Antonio Vivaldis Along With An Array of Sacred and Secular Works Celebrating The Holiday Season. We Were Joined By High School Singers From The Trenton Childrens Chorus Who Sang The "Gloria" With Us and Treated The Audience to Several Selections. In May 2025, We Presented Mozarts "Requiem," Famously Left Incomplete At His Death. Rather Than The Widely Known Completion By Franz Xaver Süssmayr, Which Contains Numerous Harmonic and Orchestral Inaccuracies, We Performed The More Recent Completion By Robert Levin Which Adheres More Closely to Mozarts Style. In Addition, We Presented The Local Premiere of Brazilian Composer José Maurício Nunes Garcias (1767-1830) "Requiem." Nunes Garcia Led The First Performance of Mozarts Requiem In Brazil and Then Used The Work As A Model for His Own Setting A Few Years Later. A Fascinating Juxtaposition for Our Performers and Audience. All

Plain answer: A tax form cannot prove that a charity is doing good. It can show how the charity says it spent its money—and point out questions you should ask.

Money made simple

88.0%of expenses went to mission workForm 990 program services

Ask these three easy questions

  1. Who did you help? Ask for a recent story or report that shows real results.
  2. What will my money do? Ask exactly what your gift will pay for.
  3. Is this really the charity? Give only through its official website or confirmed phone number.

Bottom line: Do not decide from a name, mission statement, or tax status alone. Look at where the money went, then ask what changed, who was helped, and what your gift will do. YouCanGiveBack does not endorse or grade organizations.
