In Partnership With The Fulton County Juvenile Court and The Fulton County District Attorneys Office The Offender Alumni Association OAA is Implementing The Project Safe Neighborhoods PSN Credible Messenger Youth Summer Violence Intervention. This 10-week Program Serves 20 Youth Ages 1317 Who Are On Juvenile or Adult Probation for Offenses Including Aggravated Assault Burglary Robbery Firearm Possession Family Violence and Other Serious Offenses. Participants Receive 10 Hours of Weekly Engagement Through Intensive Mentoring Support Forums Career Readiness Training Community Service and Evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Life-skills Programming Using The Forward Thinking and Project EGRESS Curricula. The Initiative is Led By A Team of Southeast Credible Messengers and Aligns With The U.S. Attorneys Office PSN Prevention and Reentry Strategy Focusing On Reducing Recidivism Improving Public Safety and Strengthening Family and Community Connections.
