THE PURPOSE of THE LAOS HEALTH INITIATIVE is to SUPPORT MEDICAL CARE IN LUANG PRABONG PROVINCE, LAOS, BY: (1) PROVIDING BETTER EQUIPMENT to THE TWO MAIN HOSPITALS IN THE PROVINCE; (2) ASSISTING and UPGRADING EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES CAPACITY for THE LAO RED CROSS; and (3) PROVIDE RESOURCES to THE LAO RED CROSS to SUPPORT MEDICAL TRAINING IN THE VILLAGES of LUANG PRABONG PROVINCE
