What they do

Over The Last Several Years, We Have Been Able to Offer Fun With Friends Meetups, The Goal of Which is to Help Participants Make Social Connections, Deepen Existing Relationships, and Grow Their Self-confidence. During The Summer, Fun With Friends Takes Place Weekly. During The School Year, It Takes Place Approximately Every-other Week. All Fun With Friends Sessions Include A Meal or Snack, and Most Are Open to Family and Friends. Fun With Friends Activities Can Include Fun, All-expenses-paid Excursions. Destinations Have Included A Princess Tea Party, The Kuehnert Dairy Farm, A Train Ride With Ice Cream, and Much More. During The Winter Months, We Often Meet At A Church In Southeast Fort Wayne, Where Participants Interact With Our Rescue Rabbits and Participate In Games, Discussions, and Empowerment Activities. Many of The Young People We Serve Do Not Engage In Outings Like This On Their Own Due to Financial and Other Access Barriers. Moreover, They May Feel Uncertain In Large, Social
