In 2013, A Few of Us Hikers Came Together to Raise Money for Organizations With Important Missions, Like The Trevor Project and Alzheimers Association. While On The Trail, We Talked About Our Experiences Growing Up As LGBTQ+ Teenagers - When There Were No Outdoor Programs Designed for Kids Like Us. There Was No Safe Place for Us to Grow and Be Ourselves. We Wondered How We Might Uplift and Empower Our Community By Sharing Our Love of Nature. We Created Trailmixer In 2018 - An Organization Committed to Providing Fun, Safe and Inclusive Outdoor Adventures for All of Us.We Trek Through Beautiful Terrain and Climb Incredible Peaks, Pushing Beyond Perceived Limits. Together, We Build Camaraderie and Confidence, While Forging New Partnerships, Forever-friendships and Personal Highs. Everyone Can Participate, By Attending One of Our Events or Helping Raise Money for The Trailmixers OUTdoor Access Fund.
