The Indy Book Projects Mission is to Ensure All Children In Central Indiana Have Access to Books In Their Homes We Collect New and Gently Used Childrens Books From The Community and Redistribute Them Through Our Partnerships With Community Centers Pediatrician Offices Health Clinics Food Pantries Schools Little Free Libraries and Other Nonprofit Organizations We Focus On Populations With Little to No Access to Books In Their Homes Our Organization is 100 Volunteer Run We Have No Paid Employees We Consist of A Working Board of 5 Individuals Plus Nearly 100 Volunteers Assisting With Book Drives Sorting Books Filling Book Requests and Delivering Books Into The Community In 2025 We Distributed 90812 Books to Children Across Central Indiana Other Income Reported On 990-EZ Line 8 Relates to The In Kind Value of Books Received As Donations From The Community and Redistributed to Area Children During The Calendar Year The Majority of Our Donations Consist of Used Book
