The Object of This Corporation is to Serve The Various Communities In Which The Union Members Affiliated With Teamsters Local 630 Reside, As Well As Other Communities Where Teamster Members Reside, By Promoting The Welfare of Teamster Members and Other Persons, Generally, Who Have Financial, Medical, or Social Needs, Including to Raise Monies and Distribute The Same to Help Defray Costs for Educational Purposes Sought By Members In Good Standing or Their Dependents; And/or Members In The Larger Teamsters Community. Said Purpose Shall Be Served By The Following, and Other, Means: Contributions to Charitable Organizations Which Are Tax Exempt Under Section 501(c)(3) of The Internal Revenue Code Which Serve The Communities of The Teamsters Membership and The Rendering of Financial or Other Assistance to Needy or Disabled Teamster Members, Their Children, and to The Larger Communities In Which Teamsters Reside.
