THEY ALLOWED PARTICIPANTS to DONATE and HIT MARSHMALLOWS INSTEAD of GOLF BALLS to SEE HOW FAR THEY COULD GO and TRY to WIN A PRIZE. 11 PEOPLE VOLUNTEERED IN EXCHANGE for MONEY to BE DONATED to OUR ORGANIZATION. THE ORGANIZATION WAS ABLE to EXPAND VISIBILITY of THE FOUNDATION AT THE BUILDERS ASSOCIATION of THE BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS SIGNATURE EVENTS. THE ORGANIZATION REMAINED FOCUSED ON STRENGTHENING WNCS CONSTRUCTION WORKFORCE WHILE ALSO STEPPING INTO A NEW ROLE SUPPORTING COMMUNITY RECOVERY NEEDS FOLLOWING HURRICANE HELENE. THE ORGANIZATION ESTABLISHED ITS ROLE IN THE COMMUNITY BY BEGINNING to ACCEPT, MANAGE, and DISTRIBUTE FUNDS RELATED to HURRICANE HELENE RECOVERY for MEMBERS and LOCAL REBUILDING EFFORTS. THE ORGANIZATION SUSTAINED PARTNERSHIPS WITH LOCAL SCHOOLS, NONPROFITS, and TRAINING PROGRAMS - INCLUDING PROJECTS LIKE THE SHEDQUARTERS
