THE ASSOCIATION ALSO PUBLISHED QUARTERLY NEWSLETTERS of ITS ACTIVITIES. IT ALSO HELD ITS ANNUAL CONFERENCE, THIS TIME AT PARK CITY, UTAH, IN THE MIDST of A MAJOR SILVER MINING AREA HEADLINED BY THE ONTARIO MINE, THOUGH PARK CITY is BEST KNOWN TODAY AS A MAJOR SKI AREA. THE CONFERENCE HAD A NUMBER of PRESENTATIONS ON MINING HISTORY IN UTAH and ELSEWHERE ALONG WITH SEVERAL TRIPS to PRESENT and HISTORIC MINING AREAS AROUND SALT LAKE CITY. THE MHA ALSO MADE PREPARATIONS for ITS 2026 CONFERENCE to BE HELD IN KANSAS. THE ASSOCIATION IN ADDITION HELD A SERIES of ZOOM PRESENTATIONS ON MINING HISTORY for MEMBERS A
