DISORIENT SHARES AWARENESS of ASIAN AMERICAN and NATIVE HAWAIIAN/PACIFIC ISLANDER NARRATIVES and REPRESENTATION AS WELL AS HIGHLIGHTS SOCIAL JUSTICE ISSUES. DISORIENT 2025 THEME WAS "REFLECTIONS." PREVIEW SCREENING FEBRUARY 15, 2025 of OREGON PREMIERE of "THE MOTHERLOAD." FILMMAKERS VAN TRAN NGUYEN and ALEX DERWICK WERE IN ATTENDANCE for THEIR PACIFIC NORTHWEST PREMIERE. LIVE SCREENING and FILMMAKER Q&AS TOOK PLACE AT THE ART HOUSE EUGENE DURING MARCH 6-9, 2025. VIRTUAL SCREENINGS WERE SET UP ON EVENTIVE DURING MARCH 10-23, 2025 WITH FILMS OPEN to AUDIENCES IN OREGON, WASHINGTON, CALIFORNIA, and HAWAII. FESTIVAL AWARDS and AUDIENCE CHOICE AWARDS.
