The Mission of Head to Speech is to Promote Athlete Brain Health By Closing The Gap Between Athletics and Communication Sciences and Disorders. We Carry This Out Through Four Pillars, Which Are Bridge, Connect, Integrate, and Expand. 1) Bridging The Gap Between Athletics and Communication Sciences: We Develop Relationships With Associations, Educational, University, Healthcare, Corporate, Sports, Recreation, and Community Settings for Increased Advocacy and Inclusion Into Policies, Protocols, Guidelines, and Hiring Practices. 2) Connecting With Community Partners for Awareness and Training: We Raise Awareness and Provide Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Experiences and Simulations With Athletes and Those Who Work Directly With Them. 3) Integrating Brain Health Into Athletes Routines: We Provide Increased Exposure, Resources and Referrals for Brain and Body Screenings and Interactive Activations That Integrate Brain Health and Cognitive Tasks Into Athletes Warm Ups, Sports
