WHILE THIS PARTNERSHIP ALLOWS US to PURCHASE FOOD AT A REDUCED COST AS THE PROGRAM COORDINATOR WE ARE RESPINSIBLE for LEADING THE LOCAL VOLUNTEER TEAM AS THEY RAISE THE FUNDS NEEDED to COVER THE PROGRAMS FOOD EXPENSES. THE BACKPACK PROGRAM MEETS THE NEEDS of FOOD-INSECURE CHILDREN BY PROVIDING THEM WITH NUTRITIOUS and EASY to PREPARE FOOOD to TAKE HOME ON WEEKENDS and SCHOOL VACATIONS WHEN OTHER RESOURCES ARE UNAVAILABLE.
