The Wiscasset Creative Alliance is Organized to Bring Together Several Small Community Arts and Culture Volunteer Groups Under One Organizational Umbrella for The Purposes of Maximizing Use of Community and Management Resources, Sharing Opportunities and Expertise, and Supporting High Quality Programming. Those Groups Include Wiscasset Art Walk, Wiscassets Museum In The Streets, Wiscasset Holiday Marketfest, Wiscasset Homes On Tour, and Wiscasset Wormfest. The Three Largest Programs and Accomplishments Include: Wiscasset Wormfest - A One Day Festival to Promote The Worming Industry. Festival Was Attended By Over 1000 People. Proceeds Provide Scholarships to Local High School Students - Total Expenses - $25,869. Wiscasset Art Walk - 3 Monthly One-day Events to Promote Arts and Crafts of Local Merchants. Music and Food Were Also Provided. Attendance At Each Event Numbered In The 100s of Local Residents. Total Expenses - $4,716. Wiscasset Holiday Marketfest - A Two Day Holiday Market Prom
